My story starts in a small city, Calicut (now Kozhikode) city, in the state of Kerala, India. As a young girl, I was drawn to Biology and Chemistry. I dreamt of being a scientist which made me pursue a degree in biotechnology. However, destiny had other plans...

 

Right after I finished my undergrad, I met my now husband, got married and re-located to the United States. I remember being extremely overwhelmed with all the newness that surrounded me - half way across the world in a new country, new language, new food and new people! Would I be able to adjust and adapt? But I realized that I was surrounded by wonderful people who went out of their way to make me feel welcomed and comfortable in this new environment.

Soon after, I stumbled upon the world of Information Technology through my friends. At first I was apprehensive of taking up a job in the IT industry - I was introverted, lacked confidence and constantly worried about my ability to succeed. And this was a new career altogether as well..

However, with a little boost from my husband as well as from a few amazing friends, I was able to work on my confidence and pick up new skills in the world of IT and my world changed forever! Now - 2 boys, 2 fur-babies and a decade plus later - I have established a robust career in the IT industry while making a lifetime full of memories with my wonderful family! My family is my rock!

 

When I'm not product-nerding, I love spending time with my family and reading. As a family, we love lwatching movies, travelling and being total goofballs along with our fur-babies!
